The following article is based on the recent David Ignatius opinion piece in the Washington Post.
“CIA is now reviewing its security plans around the world to make sure the agency isn’t relying on shaky local forces.”
So this is a CIA misjudgment? How about the administration’s judgment that put the CIA in a bad situation?
Ambassador Stevens begged many times for massive security in the months before the terrorist attack! He didn’t make the request to the CIA! He made the request to the Obama administration! Why is David Ignatius putting the blame on the CIA to protect/defend president Obama? President Obama and his administration put the CIA in the inadequate position of trying to defend the American Embassy and Ambassador Stevens in Libya after a ridiculous amount of warnings and calls for help (months before) from Ambassador Stevens with (even) warning of possible attacks, just like what happened!
Not only is Obama and his administration covering this up, but the liberal media is also, and all are actually aiding and abetting the enemy.
Now, can you tell me why a CIA timeline was described to David Ignatius of the Washington Post on Thursday, November 1 by a senior intelligence official but there was no press conference from the president of the United States to the American people to explain what happened? Who is in charge??!!!
This begs the question… Who is one of our biggest enemy? Is it us? Why do we continue to allow things like this to happen?
Next point:
“CIA base chief calls the February 17 Brigade, other militias and the Libyan intelligence service seeking vehicles with .50-caliber machine guns.”
Why in heaven’s name would the United States of America’s CIA have to rely on Libya intelligence to protect an American Embassy? We should not have an American Embassy in a dangerous area of the world that is not protected as a territory of the Unites States! ESPECIALLY after months of warnings by or own Ambassador Stevens of the United States!
“1:15 a.m.: CIA reinforcements arrive. They don’t leave the Benghazi airport until 4:30 a.m. The delay is caused by negotiations with Libyan authorities over permission to leave the airport; obtaining vehicles; and the need to frame a clear mission plan.”
-THIS IS A JOKE RIGHT? 3 hours to gain permission, obtain vehicles, and negotiate a plan?! Is this what America’s military protection has come to? Is this part of President Obama’s idea of the United States not being a bully around the world or not dictating to the world. I would say so!!! And it’s costing lives not only in Benghazi, but all over the world from our show of weakness!!!
“The hospital is surrounded by the al-Qaeda-linked Ansar al-Sharia militia that mounted the consulate attack.”
-So HELLO!!! We knew that the hospital was surrounded by Al Qaeda linked militia? So we knew it wasn’t a mob outside the embassy that just happened to have heavy artillery? We knew that there was an Al Qaeda link?…. Catching clues anyone?!!!
From the start of the attack and with all of the immediate evidence, people are still trying to say that this was not a cover up by not invoking the Al Qaeda link and an organized attack.
We need to wake up, America! We are destroying ourselves in many ways as we are led by Obama and his administration. This only highlights the military and intelligence weaknesses under Obama’s leadership, and it also parallels Obama’s economic and executive leadership which includes the failures to bring America together in the way that President Reagan did.
God help America! Let’s get Mitt Romney to take over from president Obama right now, so we can set up America to usher in a conservative president right after Romney’s term.
