Stupak Spits in the Face of the Unborn

by AC Smith

Bart Stupak spits in the face of the unborn children at the same time that he helped Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party chip away more of Americans independence, freedom, rights, and liberties with the support of less than half of the American people.

Why?! I guarantee that he got paid! That’s right! Pelosi, Obama, and Chicago/San Francisco politics at work for you! Watch what happens for Stupak in the next 2-6 years and we may see the fruits of his strong speech in support of Obama’s Social Health Care Bill after Stupak was so strongly against the Bill provisions.

The government has set up a way for taxpayers to pull their Health Care money together in order to supply abortion on demand and they have the mitigated gall to say it is not government-funded abortions.

Who is setting up this provision? The government.

Who is setting up the collection of funds? The government.

The government is helping to set up the payments and the coverage for abortions.  Why is it that the government is providing Medicare with the collections of Medicare payments but do not call the collections or making provisions for and funding the administration of the abortion-on-demand payments to be used for abortions?  We can twist the truth but many will call it like it is.

The American people have spoken in the polls that they do not like the tactics used by the Democrats and would rather our representatives to start all over.

The Democrats said over and over that they know what is best for the American people, even though, the American people said that we should concentrate on finding out what to do with the so-called 30 million people who do not and cannot get insurance. Pelosi and the democrats are full of a baloney.

This will go down in history just as bad or worse than the other programs the government put in place or supported like the Ethanol push/subsidies, Cash for Clunkers, Medicare, Post office, Railroads, Social Security, Bank Bailouts, Jails/Probation, Public Schools, Welfare, Immigration, etc. etc.  What now shall we destroy, our military? Don’t count it out with Obama, Pelosi, and the Democrats.  Next thing we know, we will be under NATO commands before the American people realize what happened, if we realize it at all.

Now more than ever, the illegal aliens and terrorists have more rights to America’s protections than America’s own people.

Come on! Why is it that every American’s freedom will have to be adjusted and/or invaded to satisfy the minority of people who support Socialized Health Care? Why can’t the millions of people who want to rely on government mandates and taxes to help with the Socialized Health Care agenda, put their own taxes/support together and leave the rest of our tax, freedoms, and liberty alone? Let those of us who will like to stand on our own abilities, succeed or fail on our own. Allow those (who want) to have the ability to be prideful of their own accomplishments or responsible behavior/plans in their life do so with their own sense of dignity.

This system is not fair when some are saying that 40% of the population pays no Federal tax and I would believe that most of those do not pay much (if any) state taxes either.  Most everyone should pay something, even if it means volunteer work if they can’t find a job or have any income. Let’s cut out the free rides and the redistribution of wealth syndrome.

Let’s get rid of the cancerous idea that Health Care and other things that many of us have to work to obtain, is an actual right. Those who do not work made bad choices through substance abuse; those who are plain lazy or have a welfare mindset that makes them put their talents towards taking advantage of the system, should not be able to take from those who are more responsible.

I was sickened by Pelosi’s reference to the Declaration of Independence, talking about freedom, liberty, and happiness when talking about the just passed Social Health Care Bill. How is that possible when the majority of the American people just had more of their freedom, liberty, and happiness taken away from them?

  1. AC… There is nothing to prevent this crop of Marxists from achieving whatever plans they have for this country… The Constitution was thrown out last night… Anything can “pass” with this new method of procedure… Only a mask of our country will remain so that people are not able to see the face of their new capture and know the real peril that they are in… Any true hope for this country will require that those who broke the laws of this nation are formally charged and sent to prison… Unlikely I think- but hope…

  2. Somewhere along the line of this health care is immunizations, why the heck they can’t or dont want to “GREEN” our immunizations, I watched a Bill Gates clip saying that it is Population Elimination for the lower class, Please AC don’t let me get this confused with that. Yes, Welfare is a horrible idea for people reaching for handouts, but those who need a temp. ‘hand up’ should not be degraded to the point of life on Welfare, which is what I see happens, if you own anything, you cannot have Welfare, so pawn it and get hooked on something during your temporary situation which has now turned permanent? Now stuck on welfare you no longer need to worry about rent, food or bills, you can lower your standard and sell ‘Rocks’ just to get from point a to point b….. I think it all screams POPULATION ELIMINATION! And now we have to pay for the innocent lives of children to be MURDERED! RIDDLE ME THIS, WHAT THE HECK IS USA THINKING! I AM AT A LOSS, AND SO IS EVERY OTHER AMERICAN! Can somebody explaine this to me in simple minded terms of a productive society that the goverment is working towards or the demise of POPULATION ELIMINATION?

    Confused in Oklahoma…
    Melissa

  3. I don’t know anything about “population elimination” so I’ll need to research that further, but what I do understand is that now 30+ million more Americans will now have access to health insurance that they didn’t have before. People will now have coverage if they find themselves without a job, or change jobs. People with pre-existing conditions, or who fall ill, will no longer be at risk for losing their coverage. You cannot tell me that most of these citizens currently without insurance (and we’re talking about legal U.S. citizens) are in their situations due to laziness or personal choice. You cannot tell me that premiums were skyrocketing beyond the average person’s ability to pay. You cannot tell me that the system was not seriously flawed. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness applies very much to this debate. Personal well being goes hand in hand with freedom. It’s not a privilege. It’s a basic human right. This legislation is long overdue.

  4. Dennis,

Just as we thought America was coming to grips by voting in someone to stop the Health Care Bill from passing, we find that we were too late in trying to correct our regretful actions and prior votes that were not for the Democratic party, but against Bush. Not to go forward but to have a change.

And Obama stated the classic truth after the Health Care Bill passed, when he got up to the podium and said, “This is what change looks like!”
I surely hope that the Republican Party and Tea Party representatives can now stand up strong in favor of our Constitutional rights and to get this country back on the right path where America will be seen once again as a model to follow instead of us trying to be like a European country.

    Melissa,
Immunizations is a great point to bring up when talking about Health Care and Bill Gates is probably right on target with his statement as far as he is concerned, but consider where Bill Gates spends a large chunk of his money on Health Care…Not here in the United States!

Bill Gates is doing some things here in the United States but he is doing much more that deals with Health Care inside impoverished nations. May God continue to bless him and his wife.

Now for immunizations in the United States, we give out a boat load of free immunizations; have free immunization clinics; and have enough money available to provide more, but it is not Health Care that I hear that has hindered immunizations in the United States, it is the government’s organization and preparations that I have heard hinders the administrations of the immunizations. Again, the passing of Social Health Care is not going to help, but very well may hinder immunizations or at least Health Care as a whole.

Just watch how United States’ Health Care will deteriorate in the years to come as we find out the real costs of government’s every increasing hands the American’s business.

I like the words you used, “Hand Up,” when talking about welfare. I believe in that but I hope our definition of “Hand Up” can be the same. My definition of a “Hand Up” is what I have asked for in the past to help me to achieve a goal or desire. Anyone that has given me a “Hand Up” I always try to make sure they are greatly rewarded. I say, give to the persons who are willing to give back to the community. Anyone who gives back grudgingly let them receive grudgingly. Now wouldn’t that be fair? I know that most rich people do not mind giving hand ups but let them give freely instead of being forced to redistribute.

I do not know if I can answer your last question because you confused me too when you put the words “productive” and “government” in the same sentence.

    May God help us all!

    Jaime,
Do you really believe that we will add 30 million more people into Social Health Care and not lower the standard of care?
Do you really believe that we will lower the deficit with the accounting gimmicks plaguing the Social Health Care Bill? Do you really believe that we that there will be the same amount of doctor care per patient as we had before the government started getting grossly involved in Health Care?

Believe me and history! The more governmental control, the worst things become.

Again! Why involve the ones who do not want governmental assistance? There should be enough of you, that a private organization or company can pull money together to control the Health Care of you and the 30 million who can’t afford it.

One thing that I have not heard anyone point out is the reason that Health Care costs has arose so much in the past 20 years. It is because of government intrusion. Government intrusion helped steer the rise of HMOs. HMOs were an important start of the governmental type of control.
I saw this coming at 18 years of age and I am kind of surprised that it took so long to get to this point.
Now, lets look forward to the famous words used in almost every infomercial…”BUT WAIT!!!”…there are more governmental controls, lowering of medical standards, and rise in Health Care Costs to combat the controls and mandates to follow.

    Again! God help us all!

  5. …AC…It’s a shame that the federal government wants to overstep its constitutional bounderies and tread where only states are allowed to tread, given the fact that it not defies the Constitution but logic and reason as well… Every state that has tried universal health care ( which is leagal for the states to try to implement) for its citizens has virtually gone bankrupt… If this is such at great idea why is it such an obscene failure where ever it is implemented. Obviously this bill is not about making people healthier but about usurping more power to control our lives…

  6. Jamie you are wrong when you say this is a great event…Billions of dollars in new taxes and fees… A family of four making 44,000.00 will pay 2500.00 in premiums… A family of 4 making 66,000.00 will pay 6200.00. Worker’s plans taxed because they provide too good of care… Small businesses will be forced to raise prices on goods and services to pay for this disaster… What happens when mid sized and large companies figure out that the fines they would pay for not providing health care for workers and they decide to pay the fine??? Those people are then paid for by taxpayers… Pelosi and Reid says people are dying every day because we didn’t have socialized care… Hate to break this to you, but in Europe, which has socialized care, you have a 16% less chance to survive cancer than you do in the US today… Don’t worry that will change…This so called health care reform will bring our country’s level of care down to everyone else’s… When have anyone seen anything the government gets involved in get less expensive??? There are going to be 16,500 new IRS agents hired… There are billions of dollars of deals that were written into this thing so Pelosi and Reid could get passage… Pelosi and Reid should read about Starkist and Chicken of the Sea Tuna before he says minimum wage hikes don’t affect business… Chicken of The Sea closed an entire operation in American Samoa due to the last minimum wage hike… In fact workers there do not get the national minimum…
Overall America will suffer due to this so called reform that does almost nothing to rein in costs and does not include tort reform…Obama lied every step of the way on this issue, from promising the proceedings would be aired on C-span to his campaign pledge of no new taxes to pay for it. Obama also promised no back room politics–yeah! How about the deals Louisiana and Nebraska got???

  7. Jamie…There isn’t a single government agency or division that runs efficiently, do we really want an organization that developed the U.S. Tax Code handling something as complex as health care???

  8. Dennis,

Is there anything in this bill that you like? Putting cost aside (which I know is impossible, but for the sake of argument), there must be some provisions that you feel will make us a better people for them. True?

  9. Jamie there not one thing in this Bill I like…Because it not a true Health care Insurance reform Bill…It’s a Entitlement bill…You can’t put cost aside the cost of premium will go up, and so will taxes… Here is list of Ten items that would be true Health care Insurance reform…And keep coast down…
    Think about Jamie…

    1. Tort Reform (Malpractice). Limit the damage awards to actual financial incurred losses. Set a Rate Structure for legal fees which may be also covered in the award… Direct any “Punitive Damages” to the U. S. Treasury…

    2. Permit insurance companies to compete in every state and create competition for lower rates…

    3. Standardize medical records for easy transfer to various Doctors, Hospitals, and Medical facilities… This would simplify billing and permit a more efficient means of gaining files from remote doctors in an emergency…

    4. Actively pursue Medicare Fraud and waste…

    5. Enforce payment for Student Loans for Medical Schooling.

    6. Reduce “Defensive and Unnecessary” medical tests…

    7. Standardize State Medical Board Certification and track performance of “Shoddy Medicine” across State lines…

    8. Refrain from a Government provided policy and rely on Public Insurance to bill and administer the plans…

    9. Modify only the parts of Medicaid that are broken part by part…

    10. Ban Health care insurance from Denying Medical Coverage for Pre-Exexisting Conditions…And Government Health care insurance Plan for the poor…

  10. I think we’re getting somewhere.

In the legislation that just passed, insurance companies cannot deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions. Also, there will be help for lower-income families who cannot afford the premiums. Medicare fraud and waste will be reviewed and hopefully eliminated as much as possible, which, in doing so, also addresses unnecessary tests.

I am for tort reform, and for simplification of practices that allows for better management.

If the CBO’s office is correct, and the actual implementation of the new policies follows expectations, the savings will be in the billions this decade, and over a trillion the next. I believe it’s premature to yell “fire” before one has been sighted.

  11. “In the legislation that just passed, insurance companies cannot deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions.”

That certainly is wonderful news for those of us who are dying to see premiums increase and/or insurance carriers go out of business.

  12. Yguy,

If we are in worse shape after the effects of this policy have come to fruition, I will stand up and say I was wrong. I hope you will do the same if your predictions are unfounded.

    Do we have a deal?

  13. No, Mr. Neben, we do not have a deal, because your criterion for judgment is too nebulous to have any meaning. If you want me to admit I’m wrong, explain to me how a company can be compelled to give away some of its product and avoid raising prices, cutting expenditures (which in this case will most likely mean reducing workforce, coverage or both), or going under.

  14. One thing we should be able to agree on is that we both have opinions, neither of which can be proven as fact just yet. I’m not suggesting that it will be easy for companies in the short term. But when you know that what you’re doing is right for humanity, solutions can be found that will also be right for the companies.

As for my criterion for judgment….thank you for using “nebulous” to describe it. True or not, I don’t come across that word too often.

  15. “I’m not suggesting that it will be easy for companies in the short term.”

To be sure. What you *are* suggesting, of course, is that they be made vassals of the federal government.

“But when you know that what you’re doing is right for humanity, solutions can be found that will also be right for the companies.”

Your premise can hardly be considered anything but willfully naive, since making people dependent on government handouts is clearly a lose-lose deal in the long run. As for solutions the only one that will end up being “right for the companies” is the same one that ended up being “right” for GM and Chrysler.

  16. I wonder if there’s any situation like this in modern history that’s caused so much disagreement, and it turned out ok. Probably with civil rights, but those issues didn’t have quite the financial impact, nor did it affect every single citizen. I can understand the concern (to put it mildly). I’m concerned too. But 30+ legal Americans without adequate health care is even more alarming.

  17. 30 million people?! What are we doing to the majority of responsible people? Punish them?!
Would it be better to (lets say) have those people contribute something to our nation so that they can earn their own health care? Do you think that will give them some pride and God forbid skills? Some states get more out of our criminals than some of the people waiting for handouts. By-the-way, we conveniently forget that the 30 million total includes some of the illegals (many not from Mexico as most of us think) who should not be stealing from our hard working tax dollars.

Yguy, you made a brilliant point! The decisions the democrats along with Reid, Pelosi, and of course Jamie are making are the same decisions that were made in regards to GM and Chrysler.

Clearly we do not understand the overall picture and lessons we can learn from the bible.
Just within this last week or two I heard the liberal democrats talk about Jesus and how he spread the wealth.
I didn’t read that part of the bible that said Jesus took the sickness or even health out of one person and spread it around to someone he considered too fortunate or not fortunate enough. Neither did he do it with anyone’s wealth.
I did read God saying that he gave us power to get wealth.
You see, the liberal democrats tend to forget or not want to understand that we are responsible to do something. We all should use our God given ability.

So when Jamie gives us this “doing right for humanity” stuff, we are not doing right by making people dependent instead of independent. We are not “doing right” by having 46% of the people not paying their fair share of taxes and allowing a lot of them to take a larger percent of anything contributed or taxed. We are not “doing right” by creating a welfare society. It is wrong!

Another bible saying..Spare the Rod, Spoil the Child. We are not allowing ourselves to learn the pains of our lessons by bailing us out and therefore making us weaker. That includes bankruptcies and subsidies to failing and corrupt businesses. From Main Street to Wall Street, let’s allow our people to have pride in what they can provide freely and not on what we can get from our so-called master.

  18. “I wonder if there’s any situation like this in modern history that’s caused so much disagreement, ”

I don’t know how much disagreement there was over Medicare, but I know Reagan was adamantly against it.

    “and it turned out ok.”

Is ti OK with you that Medicare is going bankrupt?

“I can understand the concern (to put it mildly). I’m concerned too. But 30 + legal Americans without adequate health care is even more alarming.”

Given that the poorest American today probably has access to better health care than the richest American did 100 years ago, and that we nevertheless managed to become the most powerful country in the world by 1945, why is it more alarming that 30 million Americans don’t have what most of them don’t need anyway than the fact that we’re impoverishing future generations to assuage the fatuous insecurities of the current generation of emotionalized wusses?
