I Pity the Fool

By AC Smith

We told President Obama that the principles that he wanted use were failed principles and those will fail to achieve the goals he stated and promised.

President Obama, with the help of his Democratic controlled Senate and House (and let’s not forget his demonization of success) railroaded his ideas of a transformed America and FAILED!

Now President Obama doesn’t take responsibility for the results of his own policies and the failures of reaching the goals and standards that he promised America.

Now President Obama twists the numbers with his faulty math and deceitful rhetoric to state, for example; that his policies created millions of jobs when it is stated that there are actually less people working now than when he took office.

Now, just like President Obama is fooling some of the people some of the time, is President Obama making a fool of you?

  1. What goals and standards? What failures? What faulty math are you referring to and exactly where is it stated that less people are working now than before? What are the numbers in each instance?

So you expect your readers to do their own work to back up YOUR claims?? It must be nice to just throw things out there without supporting evidence.

Do you NOT respect your audience? If so, it’s YOU who is the FOOL!

  2. “Do you NOT respect your audience? If so, it’s YOU who is the FOOL! Jamie”

    No! To the contrary!!!

I respect our audience by believing in them, that they know about the Major promises that president Obama made that weren’t kept; the goals that he set and ended up far from achieving; the standards that he laid out and didn’t follow; and the faulty math he used to deceive. I respected our audience by believing in them that they listen to the different reporting and commentary of news, so they will be properly informed of the data that, there are actually less people working now than when president Obama took office, and they will know where the data comes from.

And after you get your questions answered, if there is valid truth to it, will you finally admit that president Obama has failed in those areas? NO!!! You will continue to vote for him and make excuses for him!

I say, we need a TRUE leader in America and the obvious pick between Mitt Romney and president Obama, is without a doubt, Mitt Romney!

So YOU already answered my question by your reply to my post!

In the meantime, will you admit that president Obama has failed and admit that Mitt Romney is the better choice to obtain those goals and standards that we Americans desire, if I give you the answers to your questions asked in your response to my post?

If the answer is yes (even though I wouldn’t believe you), I’ll give you the information.

In the meantime, as I hear more and more people, who I do respect, say that they admit that they mistakenly chose the wrong man to run the United States of America; let us hear from someone else!

  3. Hmmm…so you are not satisfied to appeal to people who may be out of the loop in politics, whether it be in general or on certain issues? I believe what you’re saying is that readers must do their due diligence FIRST before perusing your thoughts. You have no desire to inform them yourself, right? If they don’t already know the facts (do YOU, by the way?), then you want them to do the research and get back to you? You can’t be bothered to provide it to the uneducated among your audience. You sound like you don’t want to preach to the choir, but you sure act like you do.

Again, you have not provided any details. You say that if I admit that Mitt Romney is a better choice, then you’ll provide the information. So I have to exchange something for “the truth.”? Well, guess what, I am not going to play that game. If you have to keep it secret, it means that it’s not worth that much, or you don’t know what it is. I’m guessing that I have access to the same news sources you do. I can get everything myself but I shouldn’t have to!!! Do you have firsthand (secret) knowledge to something the public doesn’t know? Does Hannity or Beck ever tell their audiences that they’ll share information only after swearing allegiance to their party?

Stop making things more difficult on people. You say you like facts but for whatever reason don’t want to provide any. Don’t be lazy. If you believe you are right, back it up!

  4. Sorry, AC, but the #1 rule of writing is that you don’t make your audience do the work. Moreover, if what you write includes a statement that is demonstrably false (e.g., that the House is controlled by the Democrats), substantial doubt is raised about the credibility of everything else you’ve written.
